Just a little post about my favourite actress, Rachel McAdams. I'm not sure why but I think she is just awesome.:P Rachel was born on October 7, 1978, in London Ontario and grew up in St.Thomas Ontario(makes her even cooler). Her mother, Sandra, was a nurse and her father, Lance, was a truck driver. She has a younger brother named Daniel and a younger sister named Kayleen. At age 13, Rachel began acting at a summer theater camp. During high 
school, she attended Central Elgin Collegiate Institute in St. Thomas. After high school, Rachel went to York University in Toronto, where she graduated with honours and BFA degree in theater. Although Rachel had a pretty large role in the movie The Hot Chick, her career really took off when she played the character of Regina George in the very popular teen movie Mean Girls. Following Mean Girls, she starred in The Note Book 
with hottie Ryan Gosling, who she later started dating. She is also in other AWESOME movies such as Wedding Crashers, Red Eye, and The Family Stone. All of which are really good movies, if I do say so myself. The Note Book is by far my favourite "chick flick" ever. In 2005 at the MTV movie awards Rachel won 3 awards and was nominated for 5. Rachel is currently living in Toronto and is still dating Ryan.(as far as I know). Hopefully there will be some new Rachel McAdams movies soon.

I love Rachel McAdams as well - Notebook is also my fav but I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by The Family Stone. Check out her upcoming "the time traveler's wife" (my recommended book a few posts back). If they do this movie right, it could rival The Notebook as best love story ever.
